To achieve high-brightness LED string operation with efficiencies as high as 97%, the RCDE-48 series LED drivers offer constant output currents of up to 350mA, 700mA or 1050mA. These driver modules have an input voltage range of 6 to 60VDC and are suitable for 12V, 24V or 48V nominal power rails. All products in the family offer undervoltage lockout (UVLO), thermal protection, and output open and short Circuit protection to achieve mean time between failures (MTBF) of up to 1.3 million hours.
The LED driver features a 0 to 100% linear analog or PWM dimming input compatible with 3.3V logic levels, providing excellent operating conditions for IoT nodes or μC dimmers. The dimmer pin can also be used as an on/off remote.
These driver modules come in a standard DIP-24 package (32.1×20.8×12.3mm) and are suitable for indoor and outdoor lighting applications at altitudes up to 5000m. For the 350mA version, there is no need for any forced cooling or derating, and it works well even in high temperature environments up to +80°C.
